When it comes to training and body composition, the saying “ you get out what you put in” couldn’t be further from the truth. If you aren’t prepared to put the hard hours in at the gym even on the days you don’t fancy it then you can’t expect to see the changes in your physique and/or strength that you are looking for. The same goes for your diet.
I posted a transformation a few weeks back on social media and got a lot of messages. People asking what I did, how she got her results etc. The thing is for many people there is a huge gap between where they want to be and what they are prepared to do to get there. It’s all good thinking you want abs and a lean physique but if you want to carry on eating as you please and binging on the weekend you better be prepared to buy a magnifying glass to see them.
When I tell people I have been deadlifting 2 times a week for 2 years straight and I have added 25kg onto my 1 rep max they look at me like I’m crazy. Seems like a lot of work for not much reward right? Yet they want to lift big weights and aren’t prepared to put in that work.
Ask yourself if you are really doing all you can to achieve the results you want. If your answer is no, then why aren’t you? Don’t make excuses, make shit happen.
