When performing the bench press please, please can you make sure you use a grip with your thumbs AROUND THE BAR.
Using a grip like the one in the bottom pictures ensures you have a firm grip on the bar with little to no chance of it rolling out of your hands.
In the top pictures where the thumbs are placed around the bar in the event the bar slips its going to be curtains for your neck, chest and maybe even your life.
Don’t be the guy in the second picture, stay safe. Lifting should be fun not a death wish.
